What We Do


CBL Faculty Professional Development and Coaching is a training and advocacy company committed to bettering the lives of others through kindness, support, education.  Our focus is developing practical solutions for the promotion of academic excellence, belonging, and success for all occupational therapy students and faculty. 

 

We offer professional development and support for faculty through online education, self assessment,  and coaching.  For students we offer professional support and coaching as well as our famous online shadowing modules to learn about OT and meet program admission requirements.

About Me

Hi I'm Dr. Cheryl B. Lucas.  I am an academic educator, occupational therapist,  healthcare administrator and author with over 30 years of experience working with students, faculty, clients, and families from birth to geriatrics. 

I have extensive experience developing curriculum, courses, and training programs for faculty, students, and staff.  Most recently I was an entry-level OTD program director and the Professional Development Coordinator for the academic special interest section for AOTA where I facilitated and developed faculty training programs for AOTA members.  

I value providing engaging courses based on universal design for learning, adult learning theory, and JEDI concepts while ensuring safe spaces for student and faculty personal and professional growth and belonging. WELCOME!
